As some of you have pointed out, and as I assumed, there is a few other sets of wire colors out there. So I as track them down, I will add to this posting with easy to fallow color key images. And remember, any colors not seen below are not used and can be cut off.

ALSO, we can now confirm that DMG-04 cables will NOT work with this method, DMG-07 cables only.

For more info read the main tutorial

Here is a list of keayboards I know for sure in each chart (will keep this updated too, so please feel free to tell me if you find one in the colors from the charts below))

If your not already frequently visiting Mute City DMG's Blog, then you should be. Mute City is constantly whipping up fun new projects, most recently, his venture into custom cart modding. I was recently lucky enough to not only get my hands on one of his new GlitchNES Carts, but I also got to do  the artwork for the label! Im not sure if he has any left for sale, but check out some pics I took as well as a quick (VERY VERY QUICK) demo vid I whipped up for him.

ChipMusic.org Themed DMG

Thursday, January 14, 2010
In celebration of the opening week of ChipMusic.org I decided to whip up this beauty. painted in the theme of the sites dark color scheme, then topped off with pro-sound mod, and some custom lettering. This bad boy is for sale, but wont be for long. If your interested, drop me an email by hitting the contact link at the top of the site. Head over to ChipMusic.org today and join the fun.

Thretris Theme Backlit Pocket

First up is my new backlit gameboy pocket! This one used to be a faceplate from a dark metallic blue pocket. It was in pretty bad shape, so I sanded off all the metallic blue and to my surprise it was this really cool lighter blue color underneath. After that I splattered some blood red onto it which made for a really cool contrast against the cast blue. The backing is from a stock red pocket then topped op with a Thretris sticker which I will probably remove if I ever sell it.
